Stardust
Stardust was a one-off collaboration effort involving Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk, Benjamin Diamond and Alan Braxe. They recorded one single called Music Sounds Better With You in 1999. The track, which is based around a sample of "Fate" by Chaka Khan, was a club smash.
The group were offered 3 million dollars to record a Stardust album, but Bangalter turned it down so he could work on Daft Punk's second album, Discovery, with Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. However the track was featured on Alan Braxe's album The Upper Cuts.
An instrumental version of the track has been remixed and played in the encores of Daft Punk's recent live shows. It can be found on the second disc of the deluxe edition of the Alive 2007 live album, mixed in with "Human After All", "One More Time" and "Together".

Music Video
Despite its massive popularity in clubs, Music Sounds Better With You lacked a music video for several months after its release. The proper music video for the track was directed by Michel Gondry, who also directed the video for Daft Punk's track "Around The World".
The video features a boy building a model aeroplane while watching a music channel on television, displaying the top 5 hits of the week. A clip for Music Sounds Better With You, which features the group in silver masks performing the song while perched on a cloud, is shown at number 5. As the video progresses, the track moves further down the chart until it gets to number 1.
While the boy is asleep, the group are shown flying out of the television on top of their cloud.
When the boy continues building his plane the next morning, Music Sounds Better With You is at number 1. However, this time the group are not shown in the clip.
The boy is then shown taking his completed model outside. He throws it into the air and it flies high into the sky. The group are then shown in the sky, as the model plane lands on their cloud. The group throw the plane back to the boy, and then disappear into the sky.
